International Women's Day 2026
This Sunday, March 8th, marks International Women's Day. This year's theme is Balance the Scales - a promise that every woman and girl - regardless of background or identity – deserve to be safe, respected, and free to shape their own lives. When women and girls stand equal, families are stronger, workplaces are fairer, communities thrive, and society becomes safer for everyone.
Spotlight on CSER - Driving national impact in STEM education
The Computer Science Education Research (CSER) Group, based within the College of Computer Science & IT at Adelaide University, has been a leading force in strengthening STEM education and uplifting teacher capability across Australia for more than a decade. Established in 2011 by Professor Katrina Falkner, CSER has grown from a small research team into a nationally recognised provider of large-scale programs that support schools, educators and communities, particularly those in regional, remote and low‑SES contexts.

CSER research to pilot the Get into STEM: Diversity in STEM Toolkit in schools
CSER will collaborate on a new research project with Education Services Australia (ESA) to pilot the updated Get into STEM: Diversity in STEM Toolkit resources in schools.
