Congratulations Dr Rebecca Vivian - ACCE Leader Award

We are delighted to announce that Dr Rebecca Vivian, Senior Research Fellow and CSER Project Lead has just been awarded the ACCE and Australian Computer Society Leader of the Year (for 2022)!

The Australian Council for Computers in Education takes nominations from each state Computer Education Group as candidates for Leader of the Year, Digital Technologies Teacher of the Year and Educator of the Year. The competition for these awards, is fierce given the many great educators and educational leaders in this country. Rebecca has been awarded this title for her amazing work across computer science education research and application of this knowledge to practical and impactful programs that support teachers across the country..

As an ACCE ACS award winner, Rebecca will receive a trophy and a $2000 prize from the Australian Computer Society (ACS) to put towards further professional learning.
