Our EduTech 2026 Wrap-Up

What a couple of days we had! The CSER team is back from EDUtech 2026 at the Sydney International Convention Centre, and we're still buzzing from two big days of connecting with educators, researchers and industry from across the country.

We exhibited at Stand 1214 for the full two days, and the conversations didn't stop; we met 333 people at our booth, sharing our Maths in Schools professional learning, our Digital Technologies, AI and Cyber Security courses, and the resources available through our National Lending Library. It was wonderful reconnecting with teachers we've worked with over the years, and just as exciting meeting so many new faces keen to bring CSER resources into their own schools and classrooms.

Have a look at the amazing feedback we've already received from teachers we met on the day who are keen to use our lending library:

  • Bundanoon Public School, Bundanoon NSW - “I had a great talk with a representative from Adelaide University at EDUtech in Sydney about this great service offered; we are a small regional school in NSW with limited funds, so being able to borrow a kit would be wonderful.”
  • Our Lady Help of Christians, Warrnambool VIC - “Thanks for the lovely chat in Sydney. It has been wonderful getting to borrow from your library.”

  • Eastlakes Primary School, Eastlakes NSW - “The micro:bit TPBot is awesome. I saw it at EDUtech and would love to borrow that kit until the end of Term.”

On Day 2 we also hosted our ConnectEd session, ‘AI in Primary and Secondary Schools: Where are we now, and where do we want to go?’, a packed-out conversation on how AI is showing up in teaching and learning right now. If you missed it, we shared highlights from our session in a blog post. It's well worth a read if you're curious about how teachers are currently feeling about AI in their school, including what’s working for them, what they are worried about, and what they want to explore further in the future.

Beyond our own stand, one of the best parts of EDUtech is always wandering the floor. We caught up with other researchers and organisations working in education and EdTech, and saw what businesses are building in the AI-in-education space. It's a great reminder of just how much energy and innovation are happening across the sector, and we always come away with new ideas and new connections to bring back into our own work.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked a question, shared a story from your classroom, or just said hello! It was wonderful to reconnect with past CSER colleagues and colleagues from other organisations working in the space. It makes all the difference and is exactly why we love coming along to events like this.
