The CSER STEM Professional Learning Team has had a big year working with amazing educators across the country!
This year:
- We surpassed the 3000 milestone of National Lending Library loans
- Added four brand new library kit types to the National Lending Library
- Delivered workshops in every State and Territory at a range of Maths and Ed Tech conferences
- Ran a national series of webinars on Mathematics, including culturally responsive maths pedagogy and integrating Digital Tech across the curriculum
We also continued to deliver free, self-paced courses on:
- Maths in Schools Online Courses for Foundation – Year 10
- Teaching AI in Primary Classroom
- Teaching AI in the Secondary Classroom
- Cyber Security and Awareness in the Primary Classroom
- Cyber Security and Awareness in the Secondary Classroom
- Decoding Digital Technologies (primary years); and
- Digital Technologies + X (Maths, English and Sustainability)
We have collaborated, supported or worked with a range of dedicated educational organisations across Australia, including ATSIMA, Education Services Australia, South Australian Museum, SA Aboriginal Student STEM Congress, Questacon, Curious Minds, State and Territory Mathematics and Ed Tech associations and more!
We are thankful to the Australian Government Department of Education and Google for supporting our work!
Next year we have some exciting new things on the horizon as well as continuing to deliver our current services. For those already planning, we have some back to school maths webinars lined up in late January so watch this space for updates.
Launching on 1 January 2026, is the new Adelaide University - a merger of The University of Adelaide and University of South Australia. CSER is excited to continue our work under the new Adelaide University banner.
