October is Cyber Security Awareness Month. This year's theme is 'Building our Cyber Safe Culture'.

What better way to get started than enrolling in one of our free Cyber Security and Awareness online courses designed for Australian educators and aligned to the Australian Curriculum.

Self-paced, free and available to educators working with both Primary (F-Year 6) and Secondary (7-10) year levels. Complete the 5 hour course and gain a certificate.

The courses are designed for educators of Foundation to Year 6 and Years 7-10 and aim to:

• Build teacher confidence and capability in delivering Cyber Security in the classroom as part of the Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies (V 9.0).
• Increase awareness of and access to high-quality Cyber Security education resources and programs that can be used in the classroom.
• Support educators to build a deeper understanding of the challenges and risks of the digital age in the education of all young people, and how to model and teach students about proactive and informed behaviours with rapidly changing technologies.
• Raise awareness of the opportunities in Cyber Security, with a range of cyber security jobs presented throughout the MOOC that can be highlighted in the classroom.
• The course community provides a space for participants to share ideas and learn from other participants.
