Scams Awareness Week 2024
It is Scams Awareness Week on 26-30 August. This campaign seeks to educate and empower the public to protect their personal and financial information in an increasing digital environment.
This year's theme 'Share a story, stop a scam,' aims to reduce the impact of scams by raising awareness and encouraging Australians to talk about scams and to report them. When you share a scam story, you can prevent someone else from having their money or personal information stolen. By talking to each other, we can make sure no one is alone in the fight against scams.
