Professor Katrina Falkner, our very own CSER Lead and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Interim Executive Dean of Faculty of Sciences, is featured in a new exhibit by the South Australian Museum.

The Her Story: Inspiring Women in STEM exhibit highlights the impact and innovation of four outstanding women.

Throughout history women have made amazing discoveries, inventions and contributed to the modernisation of medicine among so many other examples. This exhibit aims to highlight visible examples of women in contemporary society who are leading the way in their various fields within science, maths, engineering and technology. Each has followed their passions and achieved great outcomes.

Katrina's work in creating opportunities for young women to achieve success in STEM fields together with her work in scalable education initiatives with broad reach supporting disadvantaged communities across Australia is celebrated in this exhibition.

The exhibit is on in Adelaide at the South Australian Museum until March 2022. Find out more from the South Australian Museum website.
