Cyber Security & Awareness - Secondary Years MOOC is now Live!

We are excited to share that our second of two new Cyber Security and Awareness MOOCs is now live! Aimed at supporting learning in the Secondary Years, our latest MOOC provides ideas for the classroom to engage high school students in this essential subject area.

The Cyber Security and Awareness - Secondary Years course is designed to:

• Build confidence and capability in delivering cyber security education in the classroom as part of the Years 7-10 Australian Curriculum: Digital Technologies and ICT Capabilities. 
• Increase awareness of and access to high-quality cyber security education resources that can be used with secondary years students.
• Deepen understanding of the challenges and risks of digital technologies and how to teach high school students about proactive behaviours in using technologies safely and securely.
• Inspire awareness of jobs and careers in cyber security, with a range of fascinating roles and real-world applications.
