We need your help

We are calling on our CSER MOOC community to help us advocate for continued funding by sharing how our program has had an impact on you or your students’ lives.

Since 2014, CSER has provided Australian teachers with support in K-12 Digital Technologies through free online courses (MOOCs), first launched in partnership with Google. In 2016, we received additional funding support from the Australian Department of Education and Training NISA initiative to expand our program with access to free professional learning led by fantastic Project Officers in each state & territory; additional online courses; and free access to digital technology equipment though a National Lending Library. This has enabled us to support over 18,000 more teachers (over 30,000 since 2014) across Australia – 25% from disadvantaged schools!

However, our funding is due to end mid 2020 and we are planning now to ensure this valuable program continues to support schools far and wide across Australia.

Your voice counts! We need your help to communicate the value and impact of such a program to Ministers, so that we can continue to provide access to valuable training and digital technology equipment for free.

Help us by sending a short (under 5 min) video simply using your phone/computer, telling us:

  • What part/s of the program have you/your school accessed?
  • What impact has our program had on your professional growth and confidence as a teacher in Digital Technologies or capacity as an education leader?
  • What impact has it had to students in your school/classroom or on teachers you lead?

We will curate messages to share across our social media and with Ministers & stakeholders.
